I just got an email from ChevyMall.com regarding replacement bowties for the Camaro. Would these fit the Volt also? If not, Volt ones shouldn't be much trouble to do.

Doubt they will fit. Chevy seems to have a different design and size for every car they have ever made. Some even have a keyhole for the trunk right through them.

I had my original ones repainted body color and they look much better than the gold bicycle reflector color.

The back is just stuck on, and for the front you have to remove the bumper.

Body colored emblems look really sharp on your car, voltage692. Be nice if Chevrolet would do the same.

That looks sharp. I have a Cyber Grey and was thinking of powder coating the grill and bowtie black. Was it hard to get the front emblem off with the bumper?

Thanks for the positive comments!

The front is easy to get off once you get the front bumper loose/off. Getting the front bumper off is involved, but not rocket science.

what are the approximate dimensions on the rear bowtie emblem? Can anyone measure one? I was eyeing that last weekend as a place to do some custom work. I'd measure it myself but my 2012's birthday is next monday so won't get a chance for awhile yet.
