All,
Is there currently any way to get the vehicle's current location? A Lat/Long or google maps link would be wonderful. Alternatively, will a call to OnStar provide this information?
This is a good question -that has sat unanswered a long time.
I think with the changes to federal law on the use of GPS tracking you many never see a easy way.
For you own use one would think the build in cell phone migh offer a way if the car would auto answer incomming calls.
Or just spoof data that is already sent out that is readable now via the internet or apps.

It has -- I missed it initially.
With an OBD2 connector, some custom software, and some way of communicating the information (e.g. a laptop with wireless Internet), it can be done. The car transmits the lat/lon every second or so.
A lot of work to get the job done, but it could be done.
