: Where's the XM Radio Antenna, and Connector?

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for where the XM radio antenna is on the Volt. Specifically, where the antenna connector resides. I read some other forums for cars like the Camaro, and it's located inside the glove box. I don't see it there on the volt though.

If anyone knows or at least has a guess, I'd much appreciate it.

Thanks.

I don't have a Volt yet, but I do have a 2009 Chevy Equinox with XM radio. According to the diagrams I have on the Equinox, the XM radio receiver is located inside the left rear trim area, and the antenna runs directly to the roof (it shares the OnStar antenna).

If you don't dare to open the Volt trim without any guidance or help, wait until April 15th when the Volt Service Manual becomes available at Helm, Inc:

http://www.helminc.com/helm/product2.asp?Make=CHV&Model=VOLT&Year=&Category=&class%5F2=CHV&mk=Chevrolet+%26+Geo&yr=All+Years&md=Volt&dt=&module=&from=result&Style=helm&Sku=GMP11R&itemtype=N

It costs $150, but if you do your own servicing, or wish to learn more about the Volt, it is a valuable manual. I have all the service manuals for my GM vehicles, and I recovered the manual cost after the first time I do my own repairs. I plan to buy this manual even if I cannot buy the Volt until 2012.
