Red tint coat
Black leather with dark accents
Back up camera and park assist
All weather floor mats
Chrome wheels
The volt will join my red tint coat Cadillac Cts wagon in the garage and replaces my beloved 2007 Trailblazer SS
Now it is hurry up and wait

Is hardy chevy in Georgia? I'm in Florida and can't find a dealership that will order me a volt. Every single one says 2012, which is ridiculous since I should be able to pre order a 2012 model now.

Hardy Chevrolet is in Gainesville Ga.I believe Jim Ellis in Atlanta has a Volt demo and is accepting orders.I was told it could arrive July but more likely August

Welcome fellow Southerners. I could not wait for Georgia to roll out so I did the distance purchase in Texas which maybe will be delivered by the middle of April. My car is bayed and is waiting for transportation (4B00).
Jim Ellis had two Volts. A white and a black one when I visited the dealer in early Feb. I was a little turned off by them when they said they would sell them for something like $49K
I contacted Jim Thorton Chevy over in the Douglasville area but never got a return call.
Since I live in Alabama the closest dealer at the moment that can work on my Volt will be Riverside in Rome, GA. I contacted the service department and the service manager asked me to please bring it by so that all their service techs would have a chance to see one.

Are you saying that Jim Ellis is accepting orders for the 2012 Volt?

Apparently they are(see Bama Steves post.) I was told the factory will start shipping to Georgia dealers in July. I believe he is buying Volts from other dealers .

I checked their web site and it states the Volts they have are not for sale but are available for customers to see

Finally, I too am a new member and my new Volt is also on order. I ordered it from Sequoia Chevrolet in Sanger, Ca and the entire staff from the salesman to the finance manager to the owner himself were all so frindly and helpful. I cannot wait to start tracking my Volt's build progress. This site is great and I have been a lurker waiting anxiously to be able to post.

I was advised by Hardy Chevrolet that my new Volt should arrive sooner than expected(July ? ) and will be the first one they get and will be followed by two more in 30 days,a demo and one for sale

Be sure and list your Volt on the thread with the Google Maps. You must have a gmail account to do so.
BTW where in GA are you? East or West GA Mountains? Maybe we could have a Volt meeting.
