I am trying to decide exactly how to modify the paint on my Volt and it would really help to have some Photoshop examples from the attached pics.
I plan to paint the lower body panels and the panel below the tail light with the Volt logo white diamond, but here are the questions:
1) Paint the entire lower section of the bumper white, or leave the center section dark like a diffuser?
2) Use vinyl to cover the glass between the tail lights and paint it body color to enhance the shape of the tail lights?
Do we have any Photoshop experts here that can help show the full image of the car with these options?
Thanks!

I would reconsider using Vinyl on the glass between tail lights. This piece of glass improves visibility out the rear a ton.

Thanks for the concern. After driving the Volt for a week, I can tell you that if you are looking through that glass for visibility of what is going on, you are looking in the wrong place. It's extremely tinted, and all you are looking at is the ground immediately behind the car, which is what I got the backup camera to do.
You can see everything much better through the main hatchback glass.

I tried but didn't have much luck. Can you take some higher resolution pictures in better light? The lines between colors are a little soft and out of focus, which makes it hard to photoshop.

I will take some 12mp photos during the day tomorrow and post a link for download so there is no loss of resolution.
Thanks!

OK, I will look for them tomorrow. Also look for a lighter road surface to provide more contrast with the car.

Ok, I went to the whitest cement I could find. I posted the pics to a share folder on my dropbox:

I just took a lot of different shots to give you options. I am hoping with the higher resolution, it will work better than the others.
I'll be happy to take others if these don't work either. The sun created shadows, which took away the contrast from the ground and the dark body panels...
