: What constitutes "Junior" vs "Senior" member? Jackson 01-31-2011, 08:27 PM This is more of a question, really: I joined March 21st 2008 (after a fairly long "lurking" period), so I'm coming up on three years; but I'm still listed as a "Junior member." Number of posts. This posting for you was your 27th. IIRC you go from Junior Member to Member at 30 posts. Likewise IIRC you go from Member to Senior Member at 200. YMMV. I could have the actual numbers wrong, if so I'm sure somebody'll add a post to their list to correct me :-) Don't be so bashful! So maybe it is tied to the # of posts you have made. I think it's a crying shame all those past contributions carry no value. I think this website ought to discard the heirarchial labelling; it is disrespectful to many of us.
