I am glad that there is someone besides Zenn / EEstor pursuing ultracaps / supercaps in a plug-in vehicle.
While one may build a couple prototypes for $6 million, doing all the durability testing, fine tuning, then government testing, component / system sourcing, procurement, etc. is extremely expensive.
I suspect the foreign companies that are "highly interested" are most likely the Asian firms, who are trying to copy, copy, cooooopy!

The 150 mpg SUV by AFS Trinity uses extreme hybrid train. I almost test-drived one were it not for the meeting. They have it here available in Sacramento for test driving at one time. Many local reporters were invited.
