I can't buy a Volt in Chicago. I plan to buy one in Lansing, MI before the end of the year. I was the first person to contact a couple of dealers about buying a Volt. The sales people were very confused and uninformed about the tax credit. I'm trying to find a good dealer.

Interesting note, the Lansing power company gives a tax credit as well. Pretty cool.

Good, Fast, Cheap - You are allowed to optimize any two of the three variables.

I ordered one from a dealer in Benton Harbor, MI. I doubt you will see a unit from that area for a while..... Chevy will not be shipping to Michigan until March 2011.

I live in St Louis and am first on the list to get a 2012 model. No 2011 models in this area so I'll have to wait until the next model year to get one. I cannot wait!!!
