Anyone heard which way GM might be leaning towards issuing the vehicle? Dont want to end up like the EV-1 and all being leased. Then just when you loved the car for what it did, they drop the program and come and get your car after your lease is up. Have been watching the movie" Who killed the electric car?" Hey GM, are you listening? You have an audience with gas at 4 bucks a gallon. Dont wait untill Toyota and Honda pass you by. GM is already late turning out the Camaro. Ok..Ok... I get off my soap box here, this is for another thread. :/

I think GM will initially lease the vehicle, in extremely limited quantities, since it will be more of a public-relations gimmick at first. GM's focus is not going to be on the Volt. It will be on producing very small, very fuel efficient gas cars. Once the price drops and the demand for the vehicle increases, they will take that technology and start adding it to other vehicles.
