That's an electric Rav4 next to the Volt. Yes, the Voltec charger cord is suspended across the Volt's height with some bungie cords. I wish it would drop magically from the ceiling space when I finished parking.
But, two cars, quite a few miles of shuttling the boys around this weekend, and no gasoline burned yet. (It's 4pm here in Santa Monica.)
They look happy there Colin. BTW you can edit the image to show up larger by clicking on it.

Granted it looks pretty that way (well, it looks pretty every way :-), can't you back it out instead of in? Then you don't have the Flying Welindas charge cord thing going on...

Colin,
The garage looks sharp with those two EVs! What organization bungie cords, wow. Now you will never see a picture of my garage, I got the Volt into it with my corvette (I know but I do not drive it a lot) and three motorcycles all in a two car garage. Its not a pretty picture and the charging cord right now is laying over the seats of two of the motorcycles to get to the charging port! I have to keep rearranging things but I think I may get to a nice comfortable arrangement soon. In the meantime, having a great time driving that sharp volt. Already have had 5 drivers pull up to give me a wave and a thumbs up. If that is any indication looks like the Volt is already loved.

The garage was built in 1930. I killed 14" of space with the Ikea storage shelves and we lost some clearance to the charger for the Toyota. My wife *has* to back in, because her charge port is on the front and if we had put the charger in position for her to drive straight in it would have been a trip-hazard when plugged in. No good.
So she backs in. And in order to maximize the amount of space between the cars, I back in. Passengers hop out of the Volt before I go into reverse. (With the Prius they could slide from the passenger side of the car out the driver's side doors, that's not really possible on the Volt.)
I can't figure out how to make the image larger, but you can view it larger by clicking on it. I wish I could make the garage larger that easily.
