Hi. My wife and I are saving our money these days to be able to afford an ev when one is available from a reputable manufacturer. I'm hoping GM can design and build the Volt into a successful car. I own one of the first 200 Prius' available in the US and have had it in continuous use since Aug. 2000. It is a fabulous car, and I'm hoping the Volt will provide the next step in moving away from our dependance on oil and toward a less polluting transportation system.
