In my RSS feed today for this site, there is an entry that points to this page:

http://gm-volt.com/chevrolet-volt-owners/

Is that a new page, or just appearing now due to some RSS quirk? If new, is it really ready for us orderers to enter our info or should we hold off a bit?

I got the same thing. Went ahead and entered and sent the info, then started to wonder if it was a legitimate request.

It's legitimate guys. I accidentally sent it into the post rss, but its a free standing page now linked from the header of the site.

I am starting to collect a list of Volt owners which will be used to develop a unique robust owners community right here on GM-Volt.com. My developer is creating the platform as we speak but for now I just wanted to a get a mailing list going to keep all the owners-to-be informed.

Outstanding! Since I've signed on the dotted line, I submitted my info.

Please put me on the owner-to-be list. I submitted my Volt order this week and it was accepted by GM. Like Lyle, I switched from the dark interior with dark trim to the dark interior with light trim so as to avoid a several-month delay. I was informed that my order was the first to be accepted from this DC-area dealer's allocation. I'm very excited. I'm tracking the order on www.chevrolet.com/ordertracking. I'm waiting for my dealer to get back to me on contractors who will install a charging station in my garage. I look forward to participating in the owner's forum.

Are you still at event 1100 or did you move to 2000 on the tracking system? so far I'm still at 1100 and to the best of my knowledge no one is at 2000 yet.

Late last week a few guys (e.g. Patrick Wang (http://www.mychevroletvolt.com/)) started seeing their numbers move to 2000, meaning that the dealer had received its first allocation slots from GM and assigned one of those allocation slots to those buyers. So hopefully the rest of us buyers will see similar activity this week!

You're posting in the wrong thread, but ... Start calling dealers. Read the threads here. You'll learn a whole lot. You might be too late though.

Hey Lyle, is the recent forum upgrade possibly tied to the new owner community feature?
