I stumbled into a "Volt Owners website and blog". I will not provide a link here unless Lyle gives permission. I believe that I found it as a result of a Google News search for Chevy Volt. At first I assumed that it might be part of the Voltage site, but no, their maximum activity numbers were in the basement. It appears to be Very new.

Sight unseen, it might just be a link farm. Anyway, we think that myvolt.com will be the "official" website for owners, so what you found is probably a third party thing.

I "think" this is it, but it looks a little different than I remember - http://www.mychevroletvolt.com/

I visited the site of the link that I posted and read a couple of pages. One thing that I learned - there will be no spare tire, but there will be a tire patch kit. I had seen one in the trunk of a red Volt at the Woodward Dream Cruise, but the lady did not know what it was. It looks like a handle with two roundish "things", one of which is a plastic container that has a liquid that looks like dish soap and the other is probably an air pump. Also an electric chord is wrapped around it.

This is Patrick Wang's personal site about the Volt. He's a very nice and enthusiastic guy with no official connection to Chevy. I met him at the 2009 LA Auto Show.

Don't know Patrick personally, but his site is quite informative. He did personal test drives at Milford in the pre-production Volt, took pictures and video, and did a lengthy review of it which he has posted. I am surprised his site has not generated more of a following because it is very interesting with first-hand reporting on the Volt, but with far fewer rumors than other sites.

Patrick has helped me a lot. He is quick to answer emails and the information he shares on the Volt is really great. Patrick is just about as crazy about the Volt as I am. :)

I get to see my first Volt tomorrow at one of the Roadshow events. My wife and I are both excited. I will post impressions afterwards.
