Certainly the production prototypes will be finished by then, so that is a good time to show one off.

Could the production Volt make a debut?

Great question, but given that the E-flex Malibu mule showed up over a month late, the June timeframe for media test drives of the Volt will be pushed back, so October seems a safe plan for a production version Volt debut, as opposed to June or July.
