View Full Version : Volt to cost $35,000 anvilis 05-07-2008, 02:30 PM http://autos.canada.com/news/story.html?id=8c3768aa-58a6-40de-9162-d02f34cf2c4b ________ Club Royal Condos Pattaya (http://pattayaluxurycondos.com) jjski78 05-07-2008, 02:37 PM WHatever, as long as they don't go over $35k, then I'm still in. Although I don't see how this could add so much to the cost. There's not a whole lot of re-engineering to be done. Especially on the "high-powered audio" side of the equation. It's called a small class-T amp, lightweight kevlar cone woofers, silk dome tweeters, and you're done. Nothing fancy, just two 8" speakers in the back, and a pair of 6.5" woofers and 1" domes in the front. Simple stuff. dagwood55 05-07-2008, 04:11 PM How old is that article? &eye 05-07-2008, 04:11 PM After reading this article, It's looking more and more like waiting for the 2nd generation Volt will be a good move... ghost_in_the_shell 05-08-2008, 12:27 AM Interesting - but there is no date on the article.. I think we will have to wait to find out the true price. If that's 35k American I will HATE to see what they charge Canadians.. ( even though our dollars are worth the same thing ) mark4090 05-09-2008, 08:54 AM From what I can tell, the webpage was created Feb. 12, 2008.
