I do see vehicles like these becoming a common site for both the very young and very old, as licensing and insurance become too difficult for these two groups to attain / afford.

Perhaps at a certain age, the elderly should be allowed access to only these types of vehicles. We would have fewer incidences of a senile driver plowing into a bus-stop and killing dozens of people with their giant Oldsmobile moving at 60 mph.

Nice range at 93 miles, but I doubt they'll ever be a common sight in the USA. They are too small and slow to mix with traffic and too large and dangerous to allow on bike paths. It might work ok on farms or other low density areas, but there aren't a lot of people there.

What's "eco" about a car powered by coal?

The same thing that's Eco about a car powered by Windmills I presume.

Stop breathing, your polluting the environment around you.

It's got four wheels. It's a NEV here in the States and definitely does need a license to drive in the street. There is slim to no chance this vehicle will ever be seen on the streets here.

There is one very practical application -- retirement communities. There is a whole class of vehicles where EV's that go less than 35 MPH are acceptable. These "cars" (golf carts?) do not have to meet government crash test standards. However, many of these probably need environmental controls, at least air conditioning because many of these markets are in places like Phoenix or in Florida.
