A little Volt related news. GM might sell Volt gliders (vehicles with no powertrains for Pure EV conversions) and they are prioritizing the Volt over the H2 Equinox program.

There is a lot of interesting factoids there. One I liked is Honda's rebuttal to the H2 critics. I am going to look through it more when I get some time. I'm curious if they addressed the containment and transportation of H2 problems. If someone finds anything they like, especially related to H2, point it out.

Barthmuss also said, repeatedly, that GM will build "tens of thousands" of Volts in the first year.

That's news to me, I thought they were going to do just 10,000 the first year and make sure everything is fine (factories, parts, cars), then ramp up to 60,000 the second year (2012). Maybe the financial pressures are making them go all out in 2011.
