Yes! Should make a good commuter. Technical aspects (what littlle were shown) seemed competitive. Thankfully the French let the Italians design the visual parts.

The back end looks like a Prius after a pile up.

What back end? :) They just chopped off the back of the car right where the rear seats backrest end.

Note on the top view where the front passenger's legs are and where the front of the car is.. not a lot of distance there either. The car was designed to be a shell wrapped around the four seats with little room wasted for any other components. This is the advantage of a car designed from the beginning to be electric and not a conversion from an ICE auto.. similar to a Leaf in this way.

It gets 155 mile range and I bet the battery size (and cost) is not too different from a Leaf.. advantages of small size and small frontal area.
