Brief Description:
Wanting to buy a BEV Truck or Car from you!
Comments:
Your new Hemi Hybrid SUV isn't going to save me any money. 45k for 19
mpg
No not interested. Now lose the engine and transmission and install a
200
hp AC motor with 16 kWh of lithium batteries that will take me 40 miles
a
day at highway speeds on electric power for 30 thousand bucks and I
will
buy one right now! Come on guys do you think anyone up against 4 bucks
a
gallon gas this summer will want anything with a big V8 gas hog engine.
I
spent 680 bucks on gas last month as a carpenter! Save your money and
cease
production of this terrible idea of yours. A BEV Suv will sell like
hotcakes this summer, you wouldn't be able to make enough of them fast
enough. Otherwise you will just go bankrupt again! Melt down those V8's
and recycle them into AC motors. Do Something!!!!!

Wow, that was a terribly canned response. Back in January I sent an email to GM supporting the volt and my opinions on pricing, performance, etc. The response I no longer have, but was much more informative on the vehicles progress and GM's e-flex program.

I would just love to buy a BEV SUV or truck. I wouldn't even mind paying 30K either if i knew i wouldn't be buying gas, oil, oil filters, air filters, exhaust pipe, fuel pumps, or any of that stuff that goes with the ICE.

Need to make one with a huge motor to tow the boat to the lake.
