I would add Tesla Motors as a winner, revealing their Tesla Roadster Sport and drivetrain contract with Daimler for the Smart ForTwo EV.

The Chrysler 200C has a range extender, so his analysis about it being an EV unlikely for production is wrong, unless he feels any type of EV from Chrysler will never be made.

I completely agree that, with the acception of the new Taurus design, Ford whiffed, completely missing what they needed to show at this event. They mention producing an EV conversion in 2010, but no range extender - striiiiiiiiike three! So much for their hidden strategy.
