How much technology/design from the EV-1 product line is being used in the Volt design?

It is my hypothesis that the Volt is a stretched and updated EV-1. Here is a link to my post in the Design section of the forum.

If true is this a bad thing? I thought the EV1 to be quite advanced for it's time.

It still generates emotions about a car company who had such an advanced car, complained about the cost to manufacture and still decided to crush them instead of doing a "buy as is" sale for those wanting the car.. The only answer for GM to remove the curse of their poor decision (for whatever reasons), is to sell an affordable EV2 (Volt).

The design of the four passenger EV-1 is retro attractive:

Does anyone know if the four passenger Hybrid EV-1 with its turbine engine was ever fully engineered and studied on a test track?

In addition to the Volt would GM ever consider re-introducing the retro Hybrid EV-1 if the engineering was already completed and tested?
