They are wise for scrapping all but the volt. I hope to never buy a gas vehicle again. Sending them to China is a bad move. They will copy the first one they get their hands on. I hope this car is riddled with patents.

At best, that would briefly restrict the flow of the Chinese copies into the U.S., sadly . . .

FYI: Ironic how the second story broke on Alibaba.com which is the portal for Chinese counterfeit products.

I'll poke around on the GM Global media site for confirmation, however China is about the only markt where GM is selling cars at a pace sufficient to be profitable right now. (in that market region) The only other is South America IIRC
