Looking at the cars above it on the list, none of them were something I wanted. Very cool to see it in the top 10!

The Volt compares very reasonably with some pretty impressive cars. It is also interesting to see that our "expensive" Volts are very comparably priced to those on this list. Actually, once the federal and possibly state tax credits are removed, the Volt is actually less expensive than anything on this list. Of course, there is nothing on this list that can even get close to the Volt's fuel economy or minimal cost to drive.

The general public will catch on eventually.

Had friend at work give me a hard time about the "overly expensive flashy sports car I was driving". I took it as a complement. He just bought a loaded Jeep. We both had a good laugh when he realized that he spent more on the Jeep than the sticker on my Volt. He still has a leg up on the off road driving but I kid him that he has to drive off road because he can't afford the gas to take the long way around. Some people are starting to get why we drive Volts.

Buick Regal number 2? Wow, I've owned 4 Buicks in my day. Always the "quiet luxury car" that no one really wanted to own. Now Buick is popping. I was hoping they'd come through on making the Verano a Voltec version, but now, only China will get that.

Weird list. The VW Eos is a two door convertible - hardly a mid-size sedan.

It would be interesting to juxtapose that list with the cars most often traded in for a Volt. I know the BMW 3 series was high on that list.

If the Volt is rated that high on that list, it will be really interesting to see where the ELR rates.

Yeah, the Volt is classified as a compact too so it doesn't belong on the list either.

Sadly, it appears to have now dropped to #10. Is that revisionist history, too much flak on US News, or simply a regular update as new models come out?
