Has anyone got any information on the Power Gauge within Driver Information Center?

Autoblog (http://green.autoblog.com/2012/06/07/2013-chevy-volt-pricing-changes-and-improvements-get-detailed/)
A new power gauge in the dash shows more information about where the energy used to move the car is coming from, how much is from the battery and how much is from the gas tank.

I'm pretty sure this has been mentioned previously but for those countries that don't have OnStar, is there any way of getting a running total of kWh used on the centre screen?
We can't use those great sites voltstats.net or the myvolt.com to get any of that information.

Do you think they will eventually include data like Average life mpg on the display for m/kWh or w/mile and then eventually a combined calculated $cost/mile (with user input for fuel and elec prices)?
