A couple of photos have appeared online with respect to a new concept for GM to be revealed in Paris, the Chevy Orlando.

The link I provided to the interior picture, I think, might actually show the Volt interior.

If you look at the side view mirrors they look like the ones on the leaked blue-grey car. The vertical bar at the mirror location looks similar.

If you look at the hood from the interior picture you can see a crease along the left side which could be the crease on the leaked exterior images.

When looking at the image on blue-grey Volt with the brown glasses guy (sorry don't know his name) where he is standing in the foreground blocking the front left wheel you can see the lines of the dash and they look like the could represent the lines of the interior picture provided. You can also see the resemblence in the flat creased top of the door panel in both images.

Could this be an image of the interior of the leaked Volt images??

I think it might be. It's a lot different than the white, Ipod inspired dash previously seen.

The problem I see with this image is that there doesn't seem to be much in terms of technology and touch screen integration.

I also don't like the Camaro inspired gauges.

It's completely CGI, so who knows? Looks more 'Honda-inspired' than anything else.

It's all CGI, so who knows? The styling cues look more 'honda-inspired', i.e. the shifter.

Since GM released the pictures and the outside picture of the Orlando shows mirrors on stalks like the Volt, I'm pretty sure these are only representative of the Orlando. Not to mention that Volt interior pictures have already leaked and the Volt center console will have to be higher to accomodate the battery.

I only hope the Volt interior looks that nice. But that is not the Volt.

I have to agree that this doesn't look like it'd "fit" physically into a compact sedan. Or, maybe, who knows... perhaps it would fit. Having said that, this looks a helluva lot better than that all-white, touch-panel "iPod-like" version that's been floating around. I hope it's close to what winds up in the Volt, even if the Volt's not what we're lookin' at here.

You know, now that I think about it, all the alleged Volt interior mock-ups that I've seen so far have taken a swipe at trying to look all uber-futuristic. But having seen the production exterior, I think there's about zero chance that they'd mix "conventional exterior" with "star trek interior." What the that accomplish, save for exhibiting a severe case of AD-MPD (Automotive Designers' Multiple Personality Disorder)? It would be a severe stylistic blunder. As such, I expect we'll see something closer to this example -- and the inside will better match the outside.

No matter how you slice it though -- it looks GOOD! And I really dig the blue stripe running across the dash.

I totally agree. This is much better than the white plastic docked iPod look.

I looked closely at that picture, and I don't believe that it is the Volt. If you look close at the Volt pictures where you can see the upper part of the dash, there seems to be an indention in the middle. This pic raises up in the middle. Also there is another picture associated with that interior picture, of a concept car named "Orlando". Some kind of crossover, the interior pic was from that concept vehicle.

It is a very nice interior though and I would love to something of that caliber in the volt. :)
