I bumped a curb going around a corner. It damaged the drivers side rocker panel. Does anyone know how to remove and replace it ?

GM saw this one coming, fortunately, and designed the rocker panels to be replaceable -- heck, they're not even painted.

Part looks pretty easy to replace -- one bolt at the front wheel well, one at the rear wheel well. Examing my own car, and comparing with the diagram, I see the two clips as well that are pushed in from the bottom of the vehicle, one under each door.

Available online for $144. Try that with your Lexus parts...

The diagram is below. If you're serious about replacing the part, I'd order the panel and at least the two bottom clips, as they appear to be push-ins, and those can be dicey to re-use. Make sure you have the new panel in hand so you can clearly see the attachment points prior to removing the old panel.

I also checked the AllDataDIY database -- for the front fender to be removed, the rocker panel has to come off -- fortunately it's NOT the other way around.

can this be painted (to match body of car) part #7 ?

Part #7 is a weatherstrip, so no... But the rocker panel itself, (#6 in the illustration) can in fact be painted to match. A little bit of plastic primer, a sympathetic body shop, and PRESTO! Instant Ampera Treatment! (at least for the rocker panel...)
