This morning I happen to see a spike in power for about 15 minutes on the energy monitor (TED5000). It appears that it was the car drawing the power. I only drove a few miles the day before and the last charged completed about 15 hours prior to seeing this spike. I use the 120v EVSE and is about 46 degrees in the garage. I knew the battery managed it's temperature, but was suprise it was similar power usage as charging or a remote start. I figured it would have been more of a low continuous power draw when need. Anyways, I found it interesting as I haven't notice it before.

Interesting. Thanks for posting. GM has said that the car will condition the battery for some period of time after the last use so perhaps not surprising. I'm not sure but it may have been reported before.
That's more than 16 amps if I'm reading the graph correctly. I thought the 120V used 10 amps max.

The graph is including my whole house power as well. I believe there was about 500-700 watts being used elsewhere in the house before the TMS kicked in.

Sometimes I will see the same thing. Even on level 2 the Volt will be charged but I'll see ~3400 watts for a few minutes. Most likely battery conditioning.
