In the past year, many heard batteries company are working with automotive company. Some of you may have heard Utilities company working with automotive company to work with V2G. I have hear about battery company working with Utilities company, but it all in white paper. For me, this is the first time that I heard being testing battery for the Utilities company. It show how heavy the battery technology are pushing as times pasting by.

Good to hear that Altairnano is getting somewhere. It just seemed to languish for so long under its previous management.

The article is correct that these utility scale battery installations will most likely be used in conjunction with wind and solar installations, although solar thermal installations are now using liquid salt reservoirs to store thermal energy to maintain power production well into the night.
