Statik,

We finally get some good weather....
Go outside and enjoy yourself. You work way to hard.

At times I wondered if you were wheelchair bound after being T-boned by that Camaro so way long ago. (did I get that right?)

Like others I follow this site on a blackberry, So I do not reply much. Also I am not as elquent or informed as the other posters. However I just want to wish you the best of luck on any new endevor.

So how did you know that Lutz was going to retire?
Had to be some sort of inside information.

Cheers

If the center console must be plastic....

A solid color will always be somewhat cheap looking. The best way to class it up, without going carbon fiber, is marbling.

An off white with threads of black and silver marbling will bring the console to life. The side benefit is hiding fingerprints.

I really like the look, more so than the all white plastic. Now hopefully GM will make that a color option, and I hope the buttons have some sort of tactile difference to them.

I'll certainly miss your comments. I've been lurking here for well over a year now. I've always appreciated the lively discussions and different insights. I find that the posts and replies to your comments often lead to some of the more interesting conversations on the site. Your retirement has somehow prodded me to respond on the website for the first time. (So Lyle, this new poster is not here because of the new format. Following the threads feels like more work now.)

Enjoy your free time.
