#214 "...I expect GM to be back on top soon ,and I’ll be first in line".

I EXPECT THAT WILL BE A VERY SHORT LINE. I suspect the cars will be underpowered; overpriced; and non-competative with the other brands.

This is exactly what GM needed. The result will be a leaner meaner company. As the past owner of no less than 7 GM cars (my current car is my first non-GM), I expect GM to be back on top soon ,and I'll be first in line.

I’m really sorry about the equipment. It kind makes you understand why the domestic auto industry is such a mess. Hopefully, some of those plants will be used in the future, and this tendency is one of the things that will change with the “new GM.” They are going to pay for you for it though?
--------------------

Oh, it's all paid for. This is stuff we've sold them over the last 10 years (or even longer). I think the only stuff we didn't get paid for was some stuff we shipped to Hamtramck recently.

As an engineer though, it makes me sick to design a product, help it get built, just to see it rust in a parking lot. Its sort of like painting a picture, or writing a book, then throwing it in the fireplace.
