I finally figured out what I don't like about the new design. It's the trunk. It's to square and flat.
The new design has a trunk that is basically like this:
_
|_
Where as the original design was more sleek.
_
/_
And I like that better. I would think it'd improve aerodynamics as well. I think they should go back to that design. Maybe extend the trunk rearward a bit on the bottom. Perhaps make it a "spare tire" storage underneath.

"at the back of the rear view mirrors" should be "at the back of the side mirrors"

Nasaman,

I read further down in the article. Yes, scratch resistant coating is still a lot different from glass. They do mention PC being used for fixed side windows, but the modulus is sufficient for rolling windows. Another drag reducing possibility mentioned before that this PC would be good for is as a "flow return" at the back of the rear view mirrors.

104 noel park.....

Re: Nav systems: Tell your wife GM's optional $2,500 nav system isn't as good as the one GM now includes "free" (whether or not the buyer wants it). It's fully integrated with even GM's cheapest AM/FM/XM/CD sound system ---it has a great display, costs only $9.95/mo to use & the "points of interest", road rerouting, etc are all kept current in OnStar's central computers. No kidding, it's absolutely brilliant ---and much easier/safer to use than any of the several Garmins & Magellans I've had (or still have)!

Re: the HP45, which I also loved. And I still have my mag-card programmable successor to the HP45 ---the HP65, which (in lieu of any ground or other computers) we used to do ALL the docking maneuvers on Apollo-Soyuz ....the 1st time the US & the USSR docked two spacecraft together in July 1975. An amazing pocket-sized machine & far more reliable than any of about 6 cell phones I've owned!

We now return to the topic of the Volt's "bells & whistles" ;)

96 Koz -- Yes, title transfers. The dealer sells a car the dealer owns. It is not there on consignment. Of course, GM is interested in what is happening all down the line, and may have financed the dealer in the interim, or the customer, or may give rebates or incentives to either as a marketing tool.
