GM is definately catching the attention of individuals like myself that have driven Honda and Toyota for last 20 years. The look of the Cadillac Volt is very appealing. I am not a cadillac buyer (poor product, horrible repair and maintenance costs). Market the design of the original volt as a sedan, and not a sportscar. The target market for these vehicles do not want to be seen in a sports car. Get away from the sports car design.

Thank You,

Future electric buyer!

Does'nt matter whether its battery electric or fool cell; its still only a concept.
Why not unveil the Volt at the CES?

Don't miss Bob Lutz's latest blog on gmblogs.com.
"This program remains a top commitment to the company, and we are holding tight to our 2010 deadline."

Thank you, Bob, for you tireless leadership in making this dream of the Chevy Volt a reality for us all.

I am with you #1 Noel Park, “As so many have pointed out here, enough with the fuel cells too.”

What I think is going on with GM and the fuel cell business is that GM probably got some of the $1.2B Freedom Car money. GM must show something came from that project and with the money spent. Never mind that nothing has been done about Hydrogen Economy Infrastructure. Just another example of how our government wastes money by the billions. If the $1.2B had been spent on battery technology where would we be now. I am sorry for being so cynical.

When I Google/Youtube Provoq it turns up a lot of gay Asian videos where they strip down to their very skimpy and very gay underwear. I'm not sure that's what Bob Lutz had in mind when deciding on the name of the vehicle. Not that it's any of my business....

And another thing, about the intentional misspelling. I guess in their minds it's to look more "cool" or "hip" to use a phonetic spelling than a correct one. Really silly, if you ask me.

Yup, yup. If hydrogen ever does come around one day, it's a by-product of oil refining. They can't lose. Whether it fails or flourishes, they can't lose.
That's the only reason that GM is still working on Fool Cells...

your tax dollars at work.

When government "helps" and chooses technologies instead of letting free market forces do that job only the "special" interests win!
Yes, I agree.

Correct spelling is "Fool Sells". In other words, they are trying to Sell us on a concept that's a dead end, in order to Fool us from getting interested in technologies that will really work. This is why all the big oil companies pushing hydrogen. Classic red herring.
