Oct 29th, 2007 (11:49 am)Nice video, too bad there is so much background noise that we can’t hear the Volt.
Of course, if the Volt was silent to begin with, we couldn’t hear it anyway.
Oct 29th, 2007 (12:02 pm)Thanks again Lyle, those videos and interviews show us that the project is on the move and that is what is important. Patience is not the virtue of everyone.
Oct 29th, 2007 (12:30 pm)I saw that the Volt got significant airtime last night on commercials during the World Series. Barring a natural disaster or terrorist attack on the GM and A123 factories, it looks like they are still dead serious about making this a reality.
Oct 29th, 2007 (2:25 pm)The guy in this video said that it will be out in 2010! I can wait, but really don’t want to. Eh, I’ll wait! Woo-hoo!
Oct 29th, 2007 (3:01 pm)Lyle,
Do you know if the concept is running on batteries at all or is it using a conventional ICE?
Oct 29th, 2007 (3:13 pm)Lyle,
Your doing a great job with the site, keep up the good work. The more I see of the Volt the harder it is to wait to buy one.
Oct 29th, 2007 (3:18 pm)That is the first time I have heard an electric car…fascinating.
Oct 29th, 2007 (3:54 pm)Hey, who captured the video? Seems pretty up close and personal. Huge thanks for the sneak peak!
Oct 29th, 2007 (4:56 pm)Even the door hinge is cool on this car. I know they won’t use this exact car, but I really wish they would!
Oct 29th, 2007 (6:27 pm)George-
From what I am told and we’ve heard before:
http://www.gm-volt.com/2007/03/22/whats-under-the-volts-hood/
The concept car simply runs on a low-velocity electric golf-cart type motor. The true E-Flex propulsion system is not in there.

Great Job!
I really wish that the Chevy dealers would get the OK to start a waiting list.
I am so ready to sign up!!!!!
