NEW FEATURE: Bi-Monthly Chevy Volt Video News Update

I am trying out a new feature here on GM-Volt.com. Just as the GM execs are meeting every two weeks to discuss progress on the Chevy Volt’s development, I thought it would be a good idea if I posted a video wrap-up of the past two weeks news, information, and events related to the Chevy Volt. Look for it every two weeks on Sundays. Feedback is welcome.

You might want to check out the latest press releases on GM’s HCCI engine.

With a constant speed for a generator drive in the Volt, this more efficient engine has been tossed around as a possibility for the on board generator drive.

    1. Lose the echo. Get out of the hall or buy more furniture. Carpet the floor.

This would even be better outside.

    2. Pasty-white people should not wear gray in a dark hallway. That’s a no-no!
    No pastels either.

Good work though. I like the idea.

    3. Also, put your notes behind the camera up on the wall, so you don’t have to look down to be prompted.

That’s cool. I shouldn’t have been so blunt; but you are very good. Don’t go thinking you’re far off.

    Hi Lyle. Love your site!

    Just a suggestion…

Instead of (or maybe in addition to) a video cast, maybe it would be more suitable to create an audio pod-cast that one could subscribe to. Then people could get their Volt-fix during their daily commute. Not sure how much work that would be, but here’s an intro article I found as a reference.

Thanks for all the great work you do!

    Hi
Hang a sheet or blanket behind you.
That will give a better back drop and help get ride of the echo.
You may have to run the blanket all around you and the camera to remove the echo completely.
and like said put your note next to the camera , if you can put them on a big piece cardboard or paper so you can see them.
real good for your first time
    Tom
