The technology to mass produce fuel cell vehicles using nitrogen
doped carbon nanotubes for the electrodes in the fuel cell and
Magnesium Hydride Slurry for the hydrogen source exists today.
Nitrogen doped carbon nanotubes are resistant to carbon
monoxide poisoning.

See http://www.safehydrogenllc.com

See http://www.hydrogendiscoveries.com

The time for GM and the other major automakers to abandon
pure EVs and EREV-EVs for the real solution to the oil crisis
is now. If GM doesn't push forward with it's fuel cell technology
soon, it deserves to go bankrupt. Toyota and Honda will wipe
it out.

Hogwash. Hydrogen is the future. A hydrogen fuel cell vehicle
designed right can go 500 miles on a single fill of hydrogen gas.
Design the car to use hydrogen slurry, it can probably go
further than that on a fill and there's no need to compress H2
for a slurry system. Slurry is converted to hydrogen gas by
simply mixing it with water and for Magnesium Hydride Slurry
the byproduct is Milk of Magnesia which is recyclable.
Imagine tanker trucks filled with Magnesium Hydride Slurry
pumping it into a service station and pumping out the milk
of magnesia to take it to central reprocessing centers.

Batteries are not efficient at providing large amounts of power for
an extended period of time and they decay over time. Lithium is
NOT a U.S. commodity. It comes from Peru and China. Neither
Peru nor China are particularly friendly to the U.S. Depending on
the 33rd most abundant element on earth is trading an oil
addiction for a Lithium one.

Hydrogen is not a scam. The Apollo missions used fuel cells.
The Honda FCX Clarity is a success where much has improved
in the fields of hydrogen production, storage, and fuel cells since
the Clarity was originally engineered. The Toyota FCHV
modified Highlander is an enormous success. It is the best fuel
cell vehicle tested that I know of to date.

Electrolysis is not the only means to get hydrogen. Hydrogen can
be collected without using electolysis and strange catalysts. Bacteria can be used to produce hydrogen when they are denied
oxygen.

Every major car manufacturer has produced a fuel cell vehicle. There has been enormous success and there are new
catalysts to replace platinum that are both cheap and more reliable.
Nitrogen doped carbon nanotubes are resistant to carbon monoxide
poisoning and perform better than platinum. For GM to mass produce fuel cell vehicles, it is simply a matter of using safe hydrogen LLC's Magnesium Hydride Slurry system and carbon nanotubes in the fuel cell and GM is there. It is time to retire the
internal combustion engine and replace it with the PEM fuel cell.
No more research needs to be done for the automakers to get
started. The initial target could be 5% of the new car market and
the latest technology that is needed to make mass production of
fuel cell cars feasible can be ironed out as the automakers gear
up to increase the penetration to 25% of the market and beyond.

The beauty in the E-Flex series PHEV concept’s lies in its redundant simplicity and flexibility. The multiple "range extender" option allows the local market to choose what's best for them by voting with their wallets. This concept proves that there are still many brilliant and innovative people at GM.

The best part is that every day GM appears to be more serious about actually producing E-Flex. I’m an optimist, however we’ve all been disappointed many times before because GM “cried wolf.” I for one will remain skeptical until I can buy one from my local dealer’s showroom. I’d like the biodiesel range extender option please. My favorite color is midnight blue with faux tan leather interior. Heated seats and mirrors and a GPS system would be nice too. How about a convertible? Yep… I’m an optimist.

Btw: Hydrogen as a “battery” can’t compete with it’s own fuel source which is electricity.

The “Hydrogen Economy is scam-science unless one can repeal the laws of physics:
